Chick-fil-A Values

Chick-fil-A Florence's Mission:

Working together to love and serve others.
This means our focus is on more than just a chicken sandwich. We want to have a positive impact on our community, through their lives and the lives of each team member who works here. We want to love and serve one another in a way that is best compared to a family gathering for food and fellowship, where we pitch in and share the work load and all reap the reward with people that we care about. We want to make a difference in the community through organizations and ministries that are meaningful to our team, and impact the lives of others in the community. We want to be known for our hospitality and our others-oriented service.

Why We're Closed on Sundays

Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose - a practice we uphold today.
